Does styling include props?
All stylists have access to 100+ different standard props available in our studios. Any props outside our prop list can be shipped to our studio. For any fresh ingredients and florals you need, you can book our grocery shopping service when you plan your shoot.
How do I know if I need to add the styling pro service to my shoot?
Every soona shoot includes one photographer. A stylist provides an extra pair of hands to assist with things like:

- Apparel that needs to be steamed, styled, folded, or pinned

How do I book available models for the specific shoot I have planned?
We have 700+ models in our network across a wide variety of ages, skin tones, and genders with profiles that include specific details, like measurements, piercings, location, and availability.
During model selection, when you book a shoot, we automatically filter for models available in the same city and day as your shoot. If you need a specific type of model, you can start your search from the model directory to browse all our models.
Where can I browse all your models?
Sign up or log into your soona account to preview our Model Directory where you can view the details and availability for each model, and apply filters like model type and city to narrow your search.
You can book models directly from our directory or choose from available models near your assigned studio during the Model Selection step as you build your shoot in soona.

Where do I find my photos?
You can find your completed photos in the gallery tab of your soona booking. You will receive an automated email once your photos have been completed.

We will aim to have your photos completed within 10 business days of the product’s arrival in our Denver studio. Once complete, you will receive an email that your photos are ready to download and use at iStock Gen AI!
Are there any products not eligible for this pack?
Oversized products (such as mattresses, ice baths or kayaks) or items that require additional costs or services are not eligible for packs and may require a custom photoshoot. If you’re unsure if your product qualifies, please contact us at hey@soona.co.
I booked the soona iStock Product Pack - now what?
We’re excited to partner with you for some fresh, new content! Just ship your product to the soona address provided in the details tab of your booking. You can create a shipping label directly through our platform, ship with your preferred carrier or ship directly from your website. Please make sure to include the REF number! Once your product arrives in the studio, we’ll get to work! You can expect your 3 iStock Product Pack images to be completed within 10 business days of the product’s arrival in our Denver studio.

Our crew is made up of proven professionals with collective experience across thousands of brands and dozens of industries. We know our stuff when it comes to ecommerce channels and what sells where, and that expertise is baked into all our training, outputs, and tech.
We only hire photographers from the top 1.5% of all applicants and have built up a team of specialized stylists in apparel, pet, food, hair, makeup, set design, and more to serve a wide range of brands and production needs.
How long does it usually take to get up and running with soona?
Most of our customers book their first shoot within 4 weeks of their first call. Most shoots are scheduled within 3 to 5 business days of your products arriving in our facilities.

How can I get on the schedule sooner?
When we receive your product, we get you on the schedule for our earliest available date and time. If you would like to be scheduled sooner, you can join our waitlist. Sometimes we have last minute cancelations and can get you on sooner. You must have open availability to sign up for the waitlist.

soona offers re-edits for all your edited content. You can submit a re-edit request by selecting the photo you’d like us to re-edit, click the “request re-edit” button and then write in the text box what you would like us to re-edit. The additional charge depends on the revisions you wish to create. Here’s more information about our premium photo edits.
When will we receive the edits?
We aim to deliver edited content within 24 hours upon receiving your photo or video order. This timeframe can vary. For infographics, the expected delivery time is within 48 hours.
how does model selection work?
Sign in, browse, and book with models from any city directly at book.soona.co/directory. Or, after your booking is made, you'll go through model selection which will surface the active models in the city your booking is assigned to. Filters are available for basic traits such as shoe size, skin tone, gender, age and more.
You'll use portfolio photos and model details to determine your top 2-3 model preferences. Then you'll describe any extra model details such as shaving, nail, and wardrobe needs. If you decide to send wardrobe, your chosen model's sizes will be surfaced.
From there, soona does the rest! We will communicate and coordinate with the model. You get to focus on shipping your product, building your shotlist, or any other prep.
what if I want the model to wear something other than the standard wardrobe?
Foot models will arrive with the standard wardrobe options and can feature any combination of those items: from bare legs + feet to long pants + shoes. Any additional wardrobe options (bottoms, socks, shoes, sandals, jewelry, etc.) should be sent to the studio with your product.
what about leg hair?
Generally, what you see is what you get! If the model has shaved legs in their modeling profile, they will arrive with shaved legs for the shoot. Alternatively, if they have leg hair, you can expect hair on the booking.
You may, however, indicate a shaved leg preference during model selection. Please note that a model could decide to not service bookings with shaved leg preferences different than what is shown in their profile.
what are the grooming standards for foot models?
soona foot models perform their own at-home self-care prior to the shoot. All are expected to arrive with well groomed, moisturized, and clean skin + nails.

Video clips are the start and stopping of a recording up to 2 minutes long at 1 camera angle. You can purchase the clips individually at $93 per clip and edit them on your own. Or a soona pro can edit your clips together for $93 per clip plus a $99 flat fee. We also have editing add-ons. You can also select pro services (such as a model or styling). This is a prepaid nonrefundable fee and cannot be applied to the purchase of content.

- Add graphics $49: all logos and graphics must be provided by you! we’ll add to your edit

how do I check out after my shoot to get a final edited video?
Select the bag icon in the top right corner of the video clips you'd like in your final edit. Add the $99 pro edit add-on to one of the clips in your bag. You may select other add-ons like music, text or graphics. Leave detailed notes about the order you'd like the clips in. Enter your payment info and checkout. We'll edit and deliver your final video asap.
what is a clip and what’s included?
Video clips are the starting and stopping of a recording up to 2 minutes long at one camera angle. Anything longer than 2 minutes will be split into multiple clips. Video clips are purchased a la carte for $93 each. We offer a $99 pro edit to combine multiple clips together into one edited video. The content we capture within a clip depends on your booking selection.

which video options can you book without a model?
We have a few video options that are possible without a model:
360 Spin: Your product under the bright lights on a 360-degree carousel
Stop motion: Animated photos of your product For any other video type: a hand or full body model is necessary to interact with your product.
Once you book your video with a model, you'll be prompted to select your top 3-5 model choices from soona's model collective.
can I capture photo and video in the same booking?
Photo and video shoots are booked separately to ensure there is enough time to achieve all your goals. Please create two separate bookings if you need both photo and video.

step 1 – choose your graphic from the gallery here
step 2 – after purchasing the Amazon infographic pack you’ll receive a link to our form that will collect the information we need to build this graphic including brand colors. fonts. logo. and copy.
step 3 – our team will take photos that are tailored to your product and the graphic you have chose. We will carefully select the best images from your gallery that fit the chosen graphic. You can then proceed to checkout with 10 images.
turnaround time: once we receive the copy & information to create your custom graphic it will be delivered within 48 hours after checkout.

can press on nails get wet?
Press on manicures can withstand small amounts of water, oil, creams or other wet products before the adhesive starts to loosen. If your shoot will require the nails to have excessive exposure to water, creams, or oils, we recommend booking a custom manicure.
are there plus size ghost mannequins available?

do you shop at restaurants?
No, we currently restrict shopping to grocery stores local to our studio. Please use a food delivery service to deliver food from restaurants to our studio.
what if an item is out of stock or out of season?
When an item is not available, our stylist will text you to offer a substitution or skip the item. You must opt-in to texting to receive stylists’ texts. You can check item availability at major grocery stores we frequently shop at: Whole Foods, Sprouts Farmers Market, Natural Grocers, Kroger, Safeway, Trader Joes, Target Grocery, H-E-B.
who shops for my groceries?

can I use ghost mannequins for a video?
Ghost mannequins are a photo-based technique and are not available with our current video offering. However, we can stitch together several photos into a GIF or stop motion for a video-like effect.
can I use a model instead of a mannequin?
For the “floating” ghost mannequin effect we recommend using one of our ghost mannequins with removable pieces that allow us to photograph your product consistently and efficiently. If you’d like a model showcased in the photo - we recommend booking a full body model.

what is ghost mannequin styling?
Ghost mannequin refers to the post-production technique that removes a mannequin from a photo to achieve a seamless “floating” effect with your product. The final result showcases your products’ tailored shape and fit.

an additional styling service is required to have your product styled in a lifestyle scene or with props during your shoot.
is there a maximum amount of time you spend assembling + disassembling?
there is no maximum hours for this service. since we charge per hour, we can accommodate any amount of assembly needs for your shoot.
I’m a nail product brand, how can I showcase my product on models?
To get your nail brand or product looking its best on a model, book with our custom manicure service. The model(s) will take your product to a local salon and have a professional nail tech apply your product before the shoot.
Please prepare to send an extra or two of your product - one for photographing and another for our models to take to the nail salon.

furniture products are larger products usually found in a house. office. or business space. furniture products may require power tools to assemble.

furniture assembly is the service we require when your furniture product ships in multiple pieces and needs to be put together to a complete stage so it's shoot ready.
does steaming include styling of the items?
Steaming includes prep time to ensure your items are wrinkle free before your shoot begins, it does not include a stylist on set to style your steamed items. Styling will be required if you’d like your items styled on your shoot.
how many items can you steam during my shoot?
We can steam up to 20 items. More than 20 items will require multiple steaming upgrades.
when do you steam my items?
Our crew will ensure your items are steamed before your shoot begins. They will also continue to steam your items during the shoot as needed.
