How long have you been with soona?
Since it opened!
What's your background?
After college, I started working in reality television, which eventually evolved into making videos for business and brands, but I have always loved photography and storytelling from the beginning.
What's your favorite part about working at soona?
The team! Everyone comes from a different background and is very creative. I also love getting to work with all of the different people and projects that come our way.
What do you love about the soona experience?
It’s fast and it’s not intimidating in the way that a larger production can be. People love being in a studio and we give them that experience in a fun and easy way.
What inspires you to get behind the lens?
A beautiful sight, an interesting story, a challenge. It’s different for every project and sometimes you have to work for the inspiration and other times it just grabs you. I think both things are equally important.
What's your favorite thing to capture?
People in their natural element sharing what is important to them. Capturing the everyday moments and making them shine.
What is your karaoke song?
Looking glass - Brandy (you’re a fine girl)
Where do you find inspiration:
Travel, being outside in nature or exploring a new neighborhood, being somewhere new, sharing a moment with strangers, reading, being with friends and family.
My hidden talent:
Feeling comfortable navigating (almost) any city or place in the world. Talking to random people on the street.
I’m overly competitive about:
I’m not competitive. I have a short attention span!
My last meal would be:
The #3 sandwich from larchmont wine and cheese. And a coke. Obviously.
