Trend is now soona UGC: A new era of UGC brings all your most essential content into one powerful platform

When we acquired Trend in 2023, we had one high conviction vision: Brands needed a central place to create all the content that powers the current point of purchase and marketing funnel in ecommerce. We also knew that we wanted to bring this vision to life with intention and after fully understanding the role that UGC played with the modern brand.

Today, that vision finally comes to life as Trend.io becomes soona UGC.

With this launch, we have taken all the things that brands loved about Trend and combined that with meaningful changes to improve the overall experience. 

Here’s what’s changing:

  1. Clearer Campaign Management: From hiring to rates to due dates, we have changed the experience to show clearer scorecards on what the brands need and what creators will be expected to deliver. 
  1. Simpler Creator Tiers and Ratings: Instead of Levels, we have introduced creator tiers that reflect the experience level of the creators in general, as well as on the soona UGC platform. This hybrid approach ensures brands understand the value of moving up and down tiers. 
  1. Most Competitive Pricing on the Market: Our new model won’t require credit package purchases any longer. Buy a single video starting at $89 per video. 

Here’s what is staying the same: 

  1. Our commitment to Unlimited Usage Rights - always. The same worldwide, perpetual usage rights we guaranteed on Trend will apply here. 
  1. Thousands of highly vetted creators with the most diverse age backgrounds in the industry. Our robust vetting process that only approves roughly 35% of applications from creators.
  1. And a commitment to being the most complete platform for ecommerce content. For the first time ever, brands have a single place to complete their PDP, UGC and marketing funnel content they need to support their brand.
