Retainer Terms

These Retainer Terms apply if you choose to pay soona in Advance of Services completion in exchange for benefits, such as discounts, additional unlisted services and other free services. These Retainer Terms are in addition to the soona Terms of Service available at https://soona.co/terms/ (the “Terms of Service”). 

  1. Balances. You will receive a Balance when funds are deposited to your Account. In some cases, you may receive bonus Balances when you reach a certain level of committed deposit in your account. Your balance will be available for review in your Account.
  2. Redemption. Balances may be used for Developed Content or services (e.g., Shoot fees, pro services, certain premium edits, and additional iterations of edits). 
  3. Exceptions. Balances may not be used for subscription services.
  4. Expenses. You may charge up to $1,000 or 1% of your Balance, whichever is great, to pay for services related to soona services (e.g., shipping labels, or cost of goods). All expenses above $1,000, may require out of pocket payment at the discretion of soona.  
  5. Expiration. The Balance (and any other benefits specified in your ordering document) must be used on or before the expiration date set forth in your ordering document, after which, Balances shall be forfeited. For avoidance of doubt, Balances expire after 13 months. Balance deposits are non-refundable.
  6. Non-Transferability. You shall not transfer Balance to, nor permit the use of the Balance by, any team, business group, affiliated entity, or third-party. Balances and Bonus Balances or promotional Balances shall not have any redeemable cash value. Breach of this Section 5 may result in a forfeiture of the balance.

Promotional Bonuses. soona may offer bonuses to Customers who utilize Balances at their discretion. soona reserves the right to change promotions related to Balances at any time. 

  1. Bonuses and promotional balances are subject to minimum one time transaction thresholds.
  2. Bonuses and promotional balances may require enrollment in a subscription. Cancellation of a subscription will result in the termination and forfeiture of associated benefits or Bonus or promotional balances. 
  3. soona reserves the right to require a minimum deposit for any Bonuses or promotional balances to take effect. 
  4. Bonuses and promotional balances will not be issued based on cumulative spend. Any Bonuses or promotional balances delivered to a Customer for partaking in the promotion will be subject to Expiration periods set forth in these Terms. 

All Promotions offered by soona, including Bonuses and Promotional Balances, have no cash value and cannot be refunded.

‍General. Capitalized terms used but not defined in these Terms have the meaning provided in the Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict between the Terms of Service and these Terms, these Terms shall control.
